Table Tops

So as you may have read earlier, I vended at McMartin Realty's Second Saturday PYA event.

Here are some pics of my table. Since I've changed my crafty focus towards pet goods I'm still trying to get my display right for upcoming craft events.

Hey hey everyone. I have been so busy lately and I do appologize for abandoning the blog. However! I haven't been fartin' around doing nothing. Instead I have been working diligently getting my inventory ready for this second Saturday's event I will be vending at!

As you all may know already, I am no stranger to the Park-Your-Art McMartin Realty 2nd Saturday events. So come one, come all and check out all the great new items I have added to my line of Pet Goods for Good Pets. New items include: crocheted dog leashes & kitty toys filled with catnip. Craftoberfest update

Hello loves! In t-minus 12 days Craftoberfest will be on and popping. Personally, I cannot wait for this event. After a dud weekend vending I am more than ready for Craftoberfest. The event is being sponsored by the Sacramento News and Review as well as Dave's Pumpkin Patch located in West Sacramento.

There will be mini pumpkins for kids, a kids craft table, 30+ vendors, and swag for the first 100 visitors!!! WOW. What a great event. The Sacramento Craft Mafia will be hosting this event at the Sacramento News and Review parking lot on the corner of 20th and J st in Midtown Sacramento. The event will begin at 10am and finish up at 4pm.

Not only will Charming Co. be at Craftoberfest but right after I will be at Park-Your-Art Second Saturday event at McMartin Realty again for the last time this year. Come by the booth and see some great new items including collars, leashes, and maybe even some puppy treats. I can't promise anything about the treats but you never know. I might get some time in between school and work to whip up a batch of tasty treats for my puppies.

More on the shows as they get closer.

Weekend Getaway

Do you have plans for the weekend? I hope not. Or if you I hope to see you this weekend at two great craft filled events.

In Midtown Sacramento a few of the Sacramento Craft Mafia ladies and I will be at McMartin Realty's Second Saturday Park-Your-Art. There you will find a great selection of crafty goodness ranging from odds and ends to jewelry and accessories. The event is on 21st and K at McMartin Realty's parking lot from 6-10pm. So feel free to drop on by and check out the great craft wares from various Sac Craft Mafia members.

On Saturday and Sunday in San Francisco, Renegade Craft Fair is taking over Fort Mason! Kaytea from Sacramento Craft Mafia and Amy of PeptoGirl Industries will be sharing a booth at this event. I, for one, cannot wait to take a drive over to this event and get my shop on! Renegade will be held in the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion from 11am-7pm both Saturday and Sunday. Over 200 booths, food, and DJs? I'm SO there.

Anyone care to join me?

What a crafty weekend we have ahead of us.

Second Saturday Taken OVER

Hello lovelies!

I know I have been lacking in updating on the blog, but the semester is almost out and so I will be back on the ball in no time!

Let me bring you all up to speed for a moment---

In the past month I have come to the realization that I would like to make my business a real creative business. No more of this "hobby" and "weekend warrior" trade, but a real thriving business. So I am on my journey to take this little baby business to a big full grown craftastic entrepreneurship. I welcome you all on this adventure with me, and your support is greatly appreciated. The book, Craft Inc., written by Meg Mateo Ilasco is absolutely fantastic and ever so helpful. I have not completed the entire book, but so far it has helped me to focus and crack down and move along this journey. Let the games begin!

Ok back to reality, this past month I have gone to several vending events, Down to Earth (a craft event I helped coordinate with my fellow craftistas KayTea and Amy of PeptoGirl), Baz Biz (I actually got to vend for a little while after some people jumped ship and left an open table!), and just yesterday Second Saturday at McMartin Reality's Park-Your-Art.

At the McMartin Reality's Park-Your-Art event the Sacramento Craft Mafia TOOK OVER the place! We had at least 8 members vending, which was craftastic. I managed to sell plenty of my new marble magnets. They seem to be a real hit, so stay tuned and look out for me next month when I have clay food magnets maybe? Who knows what I'll come up with.

Take a look at all these lovely ladies from the SCM who helped take over Park-Your-Art.

I hope to see you at next Second Saturday's PYA @ McMartin Reality!
